The Pistons are coming off a big loss at home though dropping 142-124 to the Dallas Mavericks on Sunday. It was the Luka Doncic once again as he accomplished something no other NBA player ever has. Doncic scored his sixth straight 30-point triple double with 39 points. It was just too much to overcome for the Pistons but Cade Cunningham had a great game also for Detroit with 33 points. The game was very close in the first half but the second belonged exclusively to Dallas.

Charlotte is coming off a 110-99 win against the Brooklyn Nets on Sunday. The Hornets ended a six-game losing streak in the process. Miles Bridges led the way with 24 points and 11 rebounds to win the season-series against Brooklyn. It was enough to overcome 31 points from Cam Thomas who led the game with 31. The competition may not have as many wins tonight but Detroit can't be underestimated especially since Charlotte is heading on the road tonight.
